Hi Guys! I’m more than proud to be representing Liberia in Miss West Africa, and also proud to be representing West Africa in Liberia. I can assure you I will not let the public down. I think Liberia has been held down for a long time and this would be a great opportunity to bring out our hidden beauties, talents, icons, as well as the issues parts of the world tends to ignore. I’m looking forward to, and wishing you all a great Liberian independence. Could there have been a better timing to be crowned Miss West Africa Liberia. I hope everyone enjoys themselves on this day, and make some resolutions to focus on the kids.
Unfortunately we did not beat Nigeria but we definately put in a good fight. I’d love to congratulate all the players that put their hard sweat to represent. We might have lost a match but I believe the will in the Liberian people will rise and take the cup in the up coming years. Lets keep pushing. never the less congratulations to the Confederation of African football for bringing this spectacular event together. Let take West Africa forward.
My people have a history of a very intensed civil war, and although Liberia is not in the best state, everyday I take a look outside I couldn’t be any more inlove with the beauty of the land and the people. The way they remain positive, pleasant and progressive. A documentary like Nas’s can let people understand how we challenge these atrocities and move ahead. Do what you can do to see this. Love you Nas
Meet Eliza D.B. Pajibo, from Monrovia Liberia. She was born unto the union of mr. Mayer Pajibo and mrs. Eliza Kronyanh at the catholic hospital in monrovia, on January 20th, 1988.
Eliza is a very determined and confident young lady in her prime. Her main concern for accepting the role is to develop more focus on Liberia’s young children and the amputees of Liberia’s past civil war. She intends to work with the organisers to create awareness in these areas, mainly of the young children as she believes they are the future. Eliza also feels besides the history of Liberia, the people are warm hearted and the country is filled with many tourist attractions in which she hopes her role can also shed light to. She is more than proud to be a beauty representive for Liberia and has vowed to assure not to let the people of Liberia down. Eliza intends to be the West African ambassador to Liberia and bring to us the cultures, beauty, charitable and tourist attractions of Liberia.
Brains are just as essential as beauty and Eliza understands this to. She graduated from C.W.A. with a diploma and presently studying at the A.M.E University major public administration and minor management. In her own words she would describe her personality as confident, and loves to be around nothing but positive and optimistic thinkers. She believes you can achieve anything you aspire to, and her goal is reaching to the top of whichever careers she goes into.
She is a great dancer, and she enjoys nothing more than hanging out with her friends. The organisers are very proud of their selection of Eliza Pajibo and are honoured to have her as the first Miss West Africa Liberia. “We feel shes very positive, determined, and a great representation of the beauty of Liberian women. Her interest in local charities is what impressed us the most, and she would also be a very good contestant in the finals. Anyone that puts themselves forward to represent their country has already an icon to be and Eliza is definitely going all the way”. Keep on this site for more updates from both the organiser and Eliza Pajibo, with photoshoots, charities, events, and Eliza’s role as Miss West Africa Liberia 2011.
